Books 2007
Some of the books I’ve enjoyed and that have actively impacted on my professional life.
Tibetan Book of Living and Dying – Sogyal Rinpoche.
Awakening the Buddha Within – Lama Surya Das
Guns, Germs and Steel – Jared Diamond.
A Short History of Progress – Ronald Wright
Phantoms in the Brain – V.S. Ramachandran
Watching the English – Kate Fox.
How to WIN Every Argument – Madsen Pirie.
Blink – Malcom Gladwell.
Tipping Point – Malcolm Gladwell
A Short History of Nearly Everything. Bill Bryson
I have yet to finish this book yet am so enjoying it that it has to be added to my list, pronto.
For the record, I found ‘Freakonomics’ – a celebrated read worldwide – to be badly written and a very poor read
